The 90/180 Rule

VisaPort's Visual Immigration Schedule tool automatically calculates your 90/180 entitlements by working out previous stays and comparing it to the 90/180 rule. Users are shown the exact number of entitlement days remaining on a particular visa or for a given period. The 90/180 function which allows you to view the specific number of days permissible to stay in the destination country in a given calendar year. The 90/180 rule does not imply that all countries have a 90/180 day rule, it simply refers to the common name given to the rule. The Schengen area was the first to propose and enforce the 90/180 rule to the Schengen area member states defining how border officials should calculate the cumulative stay of a third-country national visiting the Schengen area in order to determine their maximum duration of stay upon entry.
